GOP 'absentee ballot' skullduggery afoot in Minnesota?

Two friends report that upon arrival home from work this evening the day's mail includes a notice from the Republican Party of Minn. that goes like this:
"Make sure your vote counts! Cast your vote by absentee ballot!'
and lists the "GOP Team" for the state.

It does NOT state why you should be concerned about your vote counting.

What the hell is up? I know we've got a goofy secretary of state, a Kathleen Harris admirer who is mucking things up as best she can, but she simply appears to be grossly incompetent. This smacks of something bigger.
And I still haven't checked my own mail.

Any body else get this damn thing? In Minnesota -- or elswhere?

1. Sounds like they're just trying to 'bank' votes

And are using scare tactics to do it. If you vote absentee only give your ballott to a Democrat Party or ACT volunteer.

2. I think it's because they want Bush supporters to vote before

they change their mind, but it could also be that the Diebold machines are going to screw things up so badly that the Bushies can say "look, we have more absentee ballots than Kerry, so we win". You are absolutely right to be suspect of this group because there's no doubt there's going to be some funny stuff tried in this election.
