The "Just Enough Electoral Votes" Formula
Edited on Thu Oct-07-04 07:27 AM by jefferson_dem
See today's map at http://www.electoral-vote.com/

If we hang on to all those blue states and bring MI home to Kerry (where it belongs), it'll be over. A perfect 270!

And this is conceding AR, CO, FL, MO, NH, NV, and WI, which we're not about to do!

3. Thanks missjudy6! No way we're counting LA out.
Much rests on keeping your senate seat in the hands of goodness and light also.

And welcome to DU, from a relative newbie myself.

:hi:

6. Thanks Jefferson_Dem
I don't hold out much hope for a Dem Senate seat.
Vitters (Repugnant) will most likely win outright on 11/2- he has the name recognition which in this state is EVERYTHING.
remember duke?

5. We're A Lot Better Than These Numbers
Read the Votemaster's note carefully...expect those numbers to start coming our way. The latest Zogbys look real, real nice (there should be a string here from the ones released yesterday). Kerry's stopped the loss and turned it around...and this is before the real kick of the debates have kicked in.

Remember, a lot of these sites work on 5-7 day averages (read Votemaster note) and includes polls like Gallup or Strategic Research (I think that's the name) that oversample Repugnicans. But then a week ago, Bunnypants looked like he was on the verge of a blow-out on these maps. Doesn't quite look that way right now.

Hang in there, I suspect we'll be having a far more favorable map next week...then let's see how the Repugnicans react to a demoralizing base. If that starts happening...opportunities in red states could present themselves. Keep working hard, it's very much appreciated!

8. We will win Nevada and New Hampshire
and Michigan isn't even close.
We will probably win Wisconsin and even Florida.
Zogby even says Kerry is up in Ohio.
