* has gone into attack mode and used his so called major speech yesterday to launch a series of attacks including blasting Kerry for his 1972 contention that the UN should bless most American military engagements.

...for every speech Kerry, Edwards and all their surrogates deliver from now until Election Day.

Bush & Cheney accomplished NOTHING during their first term - well, nothing worth accomplishing, anyway - so all they have to run on is attack & switch, distraction, mud, meanness, and lies.

Hmmm..."mud, meanness and lies" - sounds almost Churchillian...
