What Replaces VNS?
Has anyone heard anything regarding how the media will be reporting the election results?

Was the VNS, the Voters News Service, that all the networks relied on for exit polling and other data in 2000 still in business?

Or, will the networks be doing their own gathering and "interpreting".

I think we should start looking at this side of the election.

1. I think with all the money being spent
this is something that needs to be done in Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and ESPECIALLY Florida.
We need a fact check. :)

2. They'll Just Get the Data Uploaded direct from Diebold
at the same time it gets uploaded to the Diebold Republican Electing Machinez.

3. That's A Concern...
These are the "exit polls" and supposedly using this service saved on money and was an impartial source for raw data. Will they, inturn, turn to a Diebold that could also provide that type of information?

I hope this isn't going to make me find my tin foil hat.

4. Nothing, I think. Note CNN has deleted the 2000 VNS Florida exit polls.

5. No, VNS was completely dismantled just prior to the 2002 mid-terms.

6. There Were Exit Polls for the Barnes and Cleland races in GA
but they have never been released to the public. "Bad data", they say.
Both races were voted on Diebold touch-screen machinez, and both were
histoic upsets compared to the most recent polls that were released.
