...to come out of the closet.

OK, I'll start.

My confession:

Yes, JE has very nice hair.
They are BOTH very good men.

But JOHN F. KERRY is the one I'm in love with!

Whew! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

26. You know, I feel that strongly with regard to the "Bush's" War on terror
Everyone warned Kerry not to take on Bush's supposed strongest issue, and yet Kerry has directly confronted it to great effect.
Even Clinton told him not too.

17. Yes indeed.... Am feeling VERY positive. Very good timing for the WMD
report and the classroom scores. He nailed Bush. One of his best moments in the speech was when he said that he would NEVER lie to the American people, in good times or bad, and that the President and Vice President consistently do not tell Americans the truth. Finally someone calling Bush and Cheney the liars that they are.

I couldn't be much happier with the way things have shaken out these past seven days. let's just hope Kerry keeps up his work (especially tomorrow) and that things keep on this course.

We all gotta stay on our toes, though. We still have 4 weeks left...

29. As a Red Sox fan, I gotta say this
Been there, done it, bought the tee shirt, and have the stub to prove it.

But having said that, there is a change in the air, and I think this weekend (post Fri-night debate) everybody else will see it too. This is building and by next week, once again, hopefulness will be upon the land.

I'm still waiting for two things, a Sox World Series Win and a Kerry win too.

32. I feel a landslide coming
At least in the Electoral College and maybe in the popular vote. This feels like 1980 in reverse. Many people were scared of Reagan at first. Carter ran a pretty slashing, pretty defensive campaign that tried to make Reagan out to be scary. Just like Bush, people had pretty much decided that Carter didn't really deserve re-election, but they were pretty unsure of the challenger until close to the end, so they were either leaning toward Carter or parked as undecided until near the end. But the soft vote broke big in Reagan's directon after the debate.

I think we have a very similar dynamic working here. Bush's re-elect numbers and the right direction/wrong direction numbers show that people don't think that Bush deserves a second term in his own right. But they haven't been sure whether Kerry is an credible alternative.

But Kerry has definitely won another hearing and things are starting to flow in his direction. If Friday is a win for us, the damn will burst, I believe. It may have already. But Kerry has to keep hammering away and offering a credible, forceful, alternative that speaks to peoples real fears and hopes and needs. I think he can do it.

If he does, it won't be close. Bush will get like 43-46 of the popular vote and no more than 200 electoral votes.

I know that sounds like a bold prediction. But that's where I see this headed.
