Response to Repukes: Here's an ENLISTMENT FORM
Whenever you're in an argument with a Bush supporter or a myopic war supporter, simply hand them an Enlistment Form and ask them to sign up on the spot. My guess is it will be a very short conversation, and they'll slither back into their holes like the punk rats that they are.

We should ALL do this!

Military DUers: Can civilians readily get access to a bunch of enlistment forms?

1. No, it would be impossible to get a blank enlistment form
The thing is really called an enlistment packet. It's huge--mine was at least an inch thick by the time the recruiter was done filling it out--and there are a lot of things on it that only a recruiter school graduate would understand. It's also not the first step in the process--the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is.

Attach to that the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery return, the Report of Physical Examination, the results from any other tests you might need for the job you want (Defense Language Aptitude Battery, Morse Code Aptitude Test, Flight Aptitude Screening Test...those are three I remember), and a preliminary police records check.

Once you decide you really want to join the military and pick out the job you want, you then move to the Contract. It is eight pages long.

It would be impossible to pass out enlistment packets, but any recruiter would be happy as hell to give you a nice fat stack of Army recruiting brochures and a double handful of business cards.

2. Thanks
Maybe we can hand out brochures w/ a 1-800 # to call for folks to join up!
