Slim plurality of Alabama voters are now Democrats
The Alabama Democratic Party says a Gallup Poll shows the political tide may have shifted a bit in Alabama. Democratic Party Chairman Joe Turnham said 2006 polling shows that 49 percent of Alabamians identified themselves as Democrats while 46 percent identified themselves as Republicans. Turnham said for the first time since 1976, a Democratic presidential nominee could win Alabama’s 9 electoral votes next year.

1. Wouldn't I celebrate?
The more I see of Obama, the more I think he may just win the Democratic nomination. Does he have a chance in Alabama?

Hey Frances!

I think Obama definitely could win the primary in Alabama. Winning the general here would be an uphill battle for any Democrat. But here's to hope and spreading the message.
