1. I'll second that! Great game! Bama was hitting on all
cylinders, that's for sure! McElroy was ON FIRE! And now it's a run for the roses...

2. "Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then!"
Yea Alabama

Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you,
Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For Bama's pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
So roll on to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!

5. The line "Remember the Rose Bowl"
has special meaning for me.

In 1988, I introduced the man who became my husband to my mother. My mother asked him, "Where did you go to college?"

My husband answered, "The University of Washington."

Without a second's hesitation, my mother said, "We beat you in the Rose Bowl in 1926."

My family cheers for Auburn, but that Rose Bowl victory trumped even the Auburn-Alabama rivalry.

3. RMFT!!!!
Last time there were 5 undefeated teams in College football was 1979. Who won the National Championship that year? Oh yeah it was Bama baby. I was 9 the last time we won one and only remember bits and pieces of the game. Mrs. bamacrat and I are both Bama alums and are going to try to get tickets. RTR
