Gov Murkowski approval rating in thirties down from seventies when he
was a Senator. Most people are of the opinion he is a lousy Governor. One of the things mentioned for their disapproval is him appointing his daughter as US Senator. They may just vote her ass out because of it too. This bit of news put a smile on my face because I felt the same way before the election.

1. You know, you can avoid a lot of responsibility and blame as a Senator
because there are 99 others, and all you have to do is spew simple-minded platitudes at your constituents. But if you're a Governor and things go bad, you can try and blame others, but most people don't buy it, apparently event he morons who voted this fool in in the first place!

2. Some of us don't instantly
recognize the name of every single Senator or Governor. I had to do a quick google search to learn you're talking about Alaska.

4. Um, if you look at the Forum header,
it would save you a trip to google.

Even if you're reviewing the "Latest", it's still at the top of the page.

Not flaming . . .

5. Oops.
I always just go to the Latest Messages part of DU, and rarely pay any attention to the headers. :dunce:

On the up side, I learned something new, which I wouldn't have if I had simply seen that it was the Alaska forum and not bothered to open the thread.

Even if I did have to use google, because I didn't read carefully.

Now if we could only completely delete my dumb post and the two not-dumb responses all would be well.

6. No prob. Wasn't attacking.
Took me a while.

There are times when I rattle off a nasty note, only to find out that the attached link answered my questions.
