U.S. Senate primary looks like Murkowski win
Anchorage, Alaska - Just three months left before the general election, and the race for U.S. Senate is once again tightening up between the frontrunners. We’re coming into the homestretch and things are getting interesting.

On Aug. 24, we’ll know if Lisa Murkowski has been successfully challenged in her race to represent the Republicans in November.

First the primary numbers. Former state Senate president Mike Miller of North Pole has been dutifully hammering away on Lisa Murkowski for the last month, claiming she’s too liberal for Republican voters. But perhaps he forgets that half the voters in a Republican primary are nonpartisan.

The horse race: Murkowski is at 63.1 percent, Miller at 28.5 percent, Jim Dore at 2.2 percent and Wev Shea at 1.4 percent.

1. yes...
she will stomp Mike Miller, Jim Dore and Wev Shea...this is a no brainer...and has been from the beginning.

I hope Tony Knowles gives her a run for her money. I make no predictions...I've been too disappointed too many times to get too hopeful.
