Goddard needs to speak out and look different than Brewer
or not look like a whimpy coward. The let's put the money into Goddard's campaign but the Democratic Party, and messages like I heard a Democratic Party Black Caucas member saying we have to be careful how we mention 1070 because we are minority so we have to be selective and talk about only in the right places is not going to get it done. There is so much to use showing the failure of this law and how it is going to just stur up more trouble while failing to do anything about "illegal immigration" is far more useful.

That is why I am seeing long time Democrats who have been a Democrats for 40, or 50 years now are going no party preference. They will likely vote for Goddard but it is certainly scarey to see the Democratic Party and Goddard causing people like these to no longer be Registered Democrats.

1. I think the problem in Arizona is leadership. I would like to see a strong leader run the Az Dem
party. Like a Howard Dean. We get good candidates but they can't seem to get their message out.
It's so frustrating. In 2006 we had a great candidate running against Jon Kyl. You hardly heard anything about him...and that's when he had Janet's coattails to run on. Kyl might have won on name recognition and I'm afraid that's going to happen with Brewer and McCain. We need to get the Dems out there, everywhere. They need to start selling the public why they will be better than what we have now. I don't hear that from them. We need more fighters. I recently read that the number of registered Dems is almost as high as registered repugs in this state...and yes, the Independents are growing.

When it comes to 1070 I'm afraid Goddard and the rest are looking at poll numbers & are afraid to speak out against it. I keep waiting to see some fire coming from him, or Glassman. Where are they? What's their message? Where's the unity coming from the Dems in this state?

sorry...I'm rambling....

3. I agree Goddard looks weak, but his intellect makes Brewer look like a fool.
So I guess I am saying that I respect intelligence over ignorant passion.

He held his own today on CNN, even though he was interviewed by an ignorant moron.
