This is from the March 2005 SPLC Report.
"A reported member of a leading white supremacist group is heading a major new anti-immigration group in Arkansas that has been endorsed at least by one state legislator.
Joe McCutchen, who announced the formation of Protect Arkansas Now in January from the steps of the captial here, was a member of the white supremacist Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC) in 2001, according to the CCC's newspaper.
Protect Arkansas Now is a lobbying group formed in January to support the passage of the "Arkansas Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act", which was introduced that same month by state senator Jim Holt (R-Springdale).
This proposed law requires that anyone applying for state services, including immunizations and other medical car, prove that he or she is a legal U.S. resident. The measure is closely patterned on Proposition 200, an Arizona ballot initiative that passed last Election Day."
