Just got in from the Town Hall Meeting in Oakland w/Barbara Lee.
It was fantastic. Daniel Ellsberg was there on the panel.
The crowd was overflowing the seats - standing room only against the sides of the theater.

2. Dang
Finally this morning I decided I ought to see if there was a meeting around here. Next time I'll get my act together earlier.

4. Tell me more!
Thanks for posting this. I live in Santa Cruz Co. and I was unable to attend any of the Town Hall Meetings. (family illness) I'd really love to hear about it, though.

Peace.

5. Sorry about your family illness. My husband had chemo yesterday
and I wasn't sure I'd be able to go today or not. There was a woman from Santa Cruz who spoke at the microphone, so your area was represented.
We need to mobilize and write the Congressmen/women to tell them to do their jobs and investigate this War in Iraq or face the consequences of being fired.

6. Wow, Barbara Lee. She voted against the Iraq resolution.
She's the Jeanette Rankin of our time!

7. I have to admire a person who honestly votes her conscience.
