SF DUers: College Not Combat March Friday 10/28 11:30 am
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, October 28, 11:30 a.m., City Hall

Supervisor Chris Daly and College Not Combat Tenderloin Lunch Walk

JROTC is the best recruiting tool for the military and according to figures released by SFUSD last year, our Asian students comprised the largest group enrolled in JROTC. Come join Supervisor Daly on the steps of City Hall at 11:30 a.m. and join a lunchtime march in the Tenderloin. The time is now: we should be sending our youth to college, providing scholarships and job training. Recruiters are not welcome on school campuses. 2,000 deaths is 2,000 too many. How many deaths does it take? NO to war, and YES to funding education: the real opportunity for all of our youth.

please contact vicki leidner at 415-648-5050 for more information.
