Pro-Schwarzenegger pieces in LA Times

Has anyone else noticed that the LA Times is publishing cute little stories about Schwarzenegger's campaign techniques each day? I can't figure the Times out. On the one hand, they publish stories about his corruption, and on the other they support his initiatives, keep mentioning his "reform" platform (reform, my eye) and then these cute little stories about his connecting to his base voters. What's going on with the Times? Or is it me?

1. Oh, don't get me started...

I was in this forum a couple weeks ago fuming about the ever so Reich-ward swing to the Red side at the LA Times. You should read their Editorials---shocking!!
I wrote 3 letters in protest. The third letter said, "Good-bye".:mad:

2. I'm working on a big project and then they will get my irate letter

canceling my subscription. I'm sick of them. They and the rest of the media are simply dishonest.

4. There's a great article in New Yorker

The New Yorker magazine has an article all about LA Times specifically. They were gobbled up by folks in Chicago 5 or 6 years ago--they are basically running a long-distance operation (out of touch with the LA liberal readership). The paper has swung to the Right because greed drives most decisions (say former Senior Editors)....

It's a long article that goes into great detail, and I suggest you read it if you can get a copy of that issue (Oct 10?). Too complex to sum up here. But any Dem will find it most interesting.
