What is this Decision 2005 program now on KNSD in San Diego?
It is Arnie giving a televised "town hall" meeting on the special election. Damn! Don't we get equal time to respond to these questions too! Seems like unfair paid political advertising to me dammit!

1. It seems so
but arnie can't afford to do anything but close scripted appearances. The town hall meeting he did here in Fresno the oppositions voice, Kevin Hall from the Alliance, plainly stated that arnie would not allow a face to face discussion right on air. Also I was at the Alliances walking this morning and Jack Connelly(hope I got his name right)the Secretary of Education for CA showed up and stated that he was debating arnie in SLO, the Secretary's home town, where arnie called him a liar. Not good to call the hometown hero names especially when people know different. He later stated that the next day arnie would not even look at him. The best part is that SLO is one of those close counties that sometimes goes red. Looks like arnie is doing his part to make sure it goes blue this time.

2. They split up the session in half...

And the second half with opposition reps which did a lot better and fielded better questions/comments than in the first segment. One thing I found weird was that on Dish Network, the programming guide was saying it was supposed to start a half hour earlier than it actually did. Fortunately I was watching it live, even though I had it set on my PVR to record the original time. Had I not been here, I would have only got the first half and Arnie (Ugh!). I wonder how many other folks will be bitten and not see the second half as a result and if this was by "design".

In the second half, the commentators complained about not being able to field the questions more as a debate rather than two separate segments. Have to say I agree with them on that. I think Arnold should have been nailed earlier on things directly. Would have like to have seen him defend those things instead of hearing the real good criticism just go to the choir in the second half.

Not that it's big deal, but that's his name.

Arnie is supposedly back in Bako today (I think that's his 2nd time in a week). Beatty and wife are following him around, givin' him Hell. :woohoo:
