Orange County Absentee Ballots strongly favor Gov's propositions.

1. O.C. is Rethuglican H*ll!
I know; I was born there.

Boooshbots to the core (except for my sis and her hubby - they're really good people).

13. I resent your 'freaking pigs' remark
There are many, many of us here in OC who are doing our best to fight the good fight.

I've had eggs thrown on my house (Clinton/Gore sign), I've had a neighbor drive a little too close a couple of times when we've been out walking our dog (in his Halliburton company truck), we had our first-ever presidential rally in Orange last year for Kerry/Edwards (with the usual obscenities) AND I protest for peace with Code Pink every Wednesday night at the historical Orange Plaza.

I sure didn't expect to see it here.

19. My husband and I were out of state
for a funeral at that time. I had forgotten about that. I did, however, see him in 1994 at the Santa Ana Courthouse when he campaigned for Loretta Sanchez.

15. Orange County has the THIRD largest Democratic
registration in California - Yes, it is true! People R so ready to paint it red that I personally think OC Dems have an inferiority comlex about voting. If we can convince the OC closet dems 2 come out 'n vote, we can take this make Orange blue!

4. Yes--
From time to time, I see their (Dems in OC) cars at Disneyland. You know they are locals by the plates and tags--love it when I see Kerry stickers or other anti-bush stuff, next to something like, "DisneyFanForever"...So cool!

I wish there were more though. (sigh)

I didn't know... I'm not in orange county, but visit parts frequently---be nice to have you so close!

They could definitely use your progressive voice and energy.

10. You'll be a bit
of a drive from here. Job transfer (if I may ask)?

Not sure of Irvine's political demographics. There are some progressives, but not sure what the stats are comparatively speaking.

Welcome to Cali in advance! Always happy to Welcome more progressives! :hi:

12. I'm glad!
Hope that you will like it here! Need all the progressives in OC we can get! The housing is pretty pricey, but hoping (fingers crossed) that this will be changing by the time you are ready to come.
