6. Looking closer at the numbers 8:40 PM
Only four counties reporting on more than half the precincts: Amador, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino. Only in Amador and Lassen is 73 winning. Only in Amador are 74 and 75 winning.

Lassen has 100% of the precincts reporting.

22. You need Java.
Hit java.com and click the install button.

FWIW, I worked for the company that wrote it, and they are anything but MS lackeys :)

7. Those are the absentee ballots...
It'll be a while before we get more results in the mayor race if it is like what happened in the July election.

10. Any chance 75 can still lose?
It looks like the Arnold and the Republicans will have something to gloat if it wins, and perhaps I'm hoping somehwo it will lose.

12. #75 Public Union Dues 1,224,055 53.9 1,047,255 46.1
Considering the margin 53.9 yes and 46.1 no...maybe. Also considering that these are the numbers with 19.6 districts reported...

14. Still kind of early--
don't freak just yet... But I know how you feel. I'm disappointed to see such high numbers for yes on the Arnie props--and my personal pet prop 73--parental notification. (sigh)

17. Yay! Now we need 73, 74 and 79 (I think)
to flip--I said I think as I'm not looking at the numbers at the moment.

73 is still at yes, but it's not a landslide for yes--it's close...I'm hoping the Bay Area brings that one home!

21. I know--
there were at least a couple of threads about 80 and/or 79 today on the California board.

I'm wondering which props Arnie was counting on (or at least hoping) passing?
