Should Arnold resign?
If all propositions fail on this ballot, nothing will have been accomplished, and the whole special election will have been a complete waste of money any way you look at it. I forget how many millions of our dollars that would be that arnold flushed down the toilet. If the results stay on their current course, shouldn't the governator resign?

21. Let him get very sick
Then have to put up with the nurse to patient ratios that he thinks are good. I know he buys a private nurse, but make him live with his sins. Let him become septic and go into SIRS then MODS, let him be pulled back from the edge by a one to one ratio in the ICU only after a nasty case of VAP. Let him come out of it enlightened but with ESRD and on CAPD that progresses to an inpatient hemodialysis situation. I think that much sickness would even put a hurt on Bill Gates' finances. I wonder if that would change his mind about drug cost and his corporate buddies.

but he also needs to give our schools back the money he took from them AND give the state back the money this dumb ass election cost us.

AND (on edit) get rid of the stupid Hummer, apologize to us for the emissions, and stop the cigar smoking in his special, little tent in Sacramento.

8. I am beginning to wonder if the Governor's job is part-time
It seems Arnold is spending his time in LA, not in Sacramento where our governing is done. So, if he can do this part time, I think we should re-evaluate if we even need a governor. Maybe a committee might be better, all of them part time of course.

14. He won't resign but I think he
knows it's going to be another big NO if he runs again.

Yayyyyyyyyy for us! I get to keep my job in education! I do think he needs to pay CA Education back the two billion he "borrowed" in 2003 and for the 'special election' that none of us wanted!

I can't believe he and Rove thought they were going to turn this blue state red! Dorks!

15. Naw
I like the idea of watching a slow Shrub-like torture occur day by day until we boot his sorry self out of Sacramento. It's very gratifying looking at "Arnie the LOSER" on TV now. Ha!

You're not so tough anymore, are you Pretty Boy?

20. Please don't use that term
It's never been proven he groped anybody. And the whole fuhrer business has gone a little too far. He *is not* a Nazi. That's going overboard. The man is a moderate. He plays to special interests but he would be a democrat if he were in a different state. Besides, his Kennedy inlaws back him up.

22. are you kidding
just because he knows a few words to intrigue moderates. The disdain to dissenting voices and the attempt to consolidation power is nowhere near being a democrat unless someone is further right than Cheney.

19. I think Arnold will quit
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 01:50 AM by UndergroundRadical
He doesn't really have a chance at re-election. And much of his white base continues to move to neighboring mountain states to escape high business taxes in California. I think he'll quit. It would be the smart thing to do. Or actually if I was him I would probably finish out the term and not seek re-election. He's not the quitting type but he's smart enough to see the writing on the wall.

23. We should thank him
not only did he wake up the CA Dems he gave us a practice run, which we were successful with, got us organized 9 months early. Come summer of '06 we won't be stumbling around, I hope, but should be hitting on all cylinders to throw his ass out come Nov. This running start should be able to give us a shot to take back the house.

24. Unfortunately, Arnold will be back...Big Time!
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 03:18 AM by LaPera
In one year, he'll be able to destroy the Dems (whom I support right now)...Hopefully there will be someone else to stop the republican machine...You think it's all cut and dry for the Dems...You don't know what the republicans, and their media and "star" power can & will acomplish...You'll site the special election where very few of the electorate voted...and ignore the millions who have no ideology, and who will vote in 2006...This is NOT going to be a cakewalk...musclehead is the fascist golden boy...Got to keep the pressure on...and his handlers and the republicans are NOT just going to lie down. Way too much at stake!

27. I kind of wish right now that Warren Beatty or some other
charismatic liberal star will run against him, because they will have access to the same resources that Arnold has and will be able to spar with him on his level.
