I am not advocating or even hoping for Arnold Schwarzenegger to actually die. I mean that he should "die" figuratively. In other words, I want him out of politics. As for eating shit, well, I guess that's up to Arnie. Considering his sexual tastes, it might be something he actually enjoys. :shrug: Who am I to judge? :D

But what really gets me are his local enablers who have been on TV all day saying that this defeat doesn't really hurt Arnold - Mayor Alan Autry (Fresno County) blathering about much needed reforms; local pundits claiming the special election results were but a minor, trivial matter that affects nothing; newscasters vacantly spinning the loss with cutaways to the great outpouring of public support after his loss (and this, of course, after they've spent weeks building the election up as critical for Arnold and the state).

Face it. The special election was a repudiation of rampant republicanism in general and Arnold in particular. He was repudiated. His political capital is spent.
