Help elect Steve Young!
Keep us on a winning roll - help take back Congress through virtual phone

From: Sharon Toji <htoji@cox.net>
Date: November 19, 2005 10:00:20 PM PST

Yes! Even faraway Bay Area Dems can help elect a progressive Democrat
to Congress
from red Orange County! Call Marion Pack, Field Director for the
Steve Young for
Congress campaign (replacing Chris Cox in CD 48), at 949 640-4400,
and ask for
the URL and a password. Make calls from anywhere in the U.S. to OC
Dems to help
make them aware of this election on DECEMBER 6th, and how important
their vote is!

ight now, Republican right winger John Campbell and Minute Man Jim
Gilchrist
are tearing each other apart and ignoring Steve. What a great moment
if the White
House woke up on December 7th to find that Cox's "safe" seat was
going to be
occupied by a progressive, pro-choice, "get out of Iraq" Congressman!
Help make
it happen.

1. I'm gonna do this when I get home.
I'll take everything down and then i'll make the calls tommorrow. I will be so thrilled if he gets elected over there. Just TWO years of having the Congress and Senate... That's all I ask!

2. I met him at the Code Pink OC vigil
about a month ago. He is really confident he will win. He has the names and phone numbers of some of us who said we would volunteer if needed.

3. Wow. What a great opportunity!
Let's get this on the Greatest Page.

During the recall, MoveOn let us download lists of phone numbers to call. Geography really has become irrelevant.

A few minutes, a few calls add up.

Kick!

4. The Young sign wars are in full force here in OC!
Edited on Wed Nov-23-05 07:17 PM by Pithy Cherub
Steve Young had the big sections and the one's near the Irvine City Hall. Then Young going back towards The Irvine Spectrum and also going into Newport Beach. Next day somebody is tearing down Campbell's and putting up Gilchrist. My street changes DAILY with who's signs are up. Yesterday it was all about Young! Today there are missing Young signs and the R's have some up. And as I watch more Young signs are going back up!

Go Steve Young December 6 should be your day! :bounce:

5. I will be making some calls this weekend!
I will be at the campaign headquarters tonight as well. This election is a great opportunity for Democrats, especially with the conservative vote being split!
