5. Doolittle kicked in $10, 000 for DeLay's defense fund, too
Yes, fishy.

It appears the real interesting races developing in California midterm elections will be Doolittle/Brown (Ca 4) - Pombo/McClosky (Ca 11) - Bono/Roth (Ca 45). I undesstand the 11th is very red and would be next to impossible to turn Democrat, so I would accept the moderate republican, Pete McClosky, if we could turn the other two seats.

Thank you, idiot, Tom DeLay, for providing the coattail rides to hell.

2. Welcome to the bottle
The sooner Doolittle and his geological time-bomb pet project (the Auburn Dam - an earthen dam built on top of an earthquake fault above Sacramento!) gets the hell off of the public payroll, the better!

4. I remember voting for him when he first ran for State Senate
He took the time to go door-to-door and give his sales pitch. He seemed at the time to have some good ideas. I kind of liked the idea of having an uncorrupted Mormon as a legislator, especially one who lived in the neighborhood. I would often see him and his family walking down Van Maren Lane to the church on Sunday mornings. But, boy, did he ever change! I'm almost wondering now if he might get booted out of the church. I know quite a few Mormons and they're not too happy with his conduct.
