Visibility down to 1/2 mile due to smoke

And this isn't even near the fires - on Hwy 50 between Folsom and El Dorado Hills.

What's the visibility like where you are?

The smell of smoke is strong and the medical people say that is dangerous. Smoky and HOT! Jeez louie, I'm thinking of taking a lawnchair into to the grocery store and set up camp in the frozen food section!

4. I'm looking out my office window
on Capitol Mall facing North and can barely see the Richards Blvd. offramp. This is nasty.
