Visiting LA? Need an extra room for visiting relatives?

I rent out my home to support a book I am writing that puts a human face on our foreign policies. (I blog at http://www.PeacePATHFoundation.org.) I recently spent the summer in Syria volunteering to help Iraqi refugees. (I bunk elsewhere.)

I have a studio Casita ($90/night) and a 2-BR Bungalow ($150/night) ~ only 8 blocks to the Santa Monica beach!

Enjoy politically correct vacationing -- even in LA! Comes with Charley, my DemoCat.

2. Take my word on this, it's not!
I stayed at the so called "Casita" which is nothing more than a restored garage and it was miserable. She shouldn't even be renting this space out for money, any money. It was dirty, I swear there were cobwebs in the bathroom. Every sink or toilet leaked, there was an animal behind my head in the garage, and it was as ill equiped of a room that I have ever stayed at. She supplied hardly no cooking utensils or even soap for that matter. And the tv was the size of a 14" laptop with inadequate volume, do yourself a favor here and look elsewhere.

3. Here's the kicker
I almost forgot she heated the room with a rinky dink space heater which I'm pretty sure is illegal in the state of CA. You've been warned, I just wish someone would have warned me on this one.
