Woman stole $1.6 million from her employer to pay Victoria's Secret bills
Lisa Shae Allen, 38, of Modesto pleaded guilty to 15 counts of mail fraud against G. Hedgecock Inc., a Modesto paving and grading company. She worked there six years. Allen faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled Aug. 31. Allen's theft was partly fueled by an addiction to methamphetamine, Puri said. Allen didn't spend the stolen money on drugs, he said, but her drug use probably contributed to the poor judgment that led to her theft.

1. That's a lot of money - hope she still has some of the assets to pay it back
This isn't really the kind of economy (as if there is one) where a business can take a $1.6 million hit.

Beyond that, I really don't think I'd steal from a paving company - there aren't too many business types better prepared to dispose of a body... :scared:

3. She should apply for a job at Goldman-Sachs.

Something in "structured financial instruments" ought to be right up her alley.
