Racist graffiti in (San Diego) County leads to teen arrest

A 16-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of vandalizing an interracial San Diego County family's minivan with a swastika and other racist graffiti.

... Michael Lee, who is black, says it was the second time he and his Hispanic wife have been the victims of racist vandalism. He says someone carved a pair of swastikas on their porch post shortly after they moved into the neighborhood five years ago.

8. The parents deserve a lot of credit for making their kid take responsibility

for his actions. Obviously they tried to teach him not to be a bigot, and tried to teach him to be responsible too. If he hasn't learned those lessons yet, obviously they're still teaching. Good for them.

This is a parent's nightmare, to have a child do something criminal that goes against what you tried to instill. :(
