To allow auto insurance companies to set your rates by your payment history rather than your driving record.

In other words, if you are poor or make a late payment they can jack up your rates.

More class war being waged by our corporate masters. This idea needs a stake driven through its heart quickly!

is a better client than a guy who is 3 days late on a payment with no tickets, accidents etc..?

I'd love to 'discuss' this issue with someone asking me to sign that petition.

3. of course there were
I wonder how they rationalize this crap with the uninsured driving because they can't afford insurance? Yea.. that makes sense to make it so expensive for those struggling that they can't afford it at all. :eyes:

I can't imagine the insurance companies going for this really - why would they give better rates to those who they surely pay the most out for.

4. I was asked to sign one also
and didn't. The explanation given was to reform car insurance for lower rates and to make red lining illegal. That may be why there were so many signatures.

6. Most people don't read
or have any idea of what the petition really says. I keep asking when the petetion making ddivorce illegal in this state is coming. In my twisted little brain I think the religious right deserves it. The other day when I was asking about it this woman got so excited. She said her religion doesn't believe in divorce.

8. LOL
Some of it just makes your brain hurt. I have been griping about the dumbing down of America for years. I thought it was bad 15 years ago but it is nothing like it is now.
