I am too excited to sleep. I have been up since 4. Can't wait to vote. How is everyone holding up?

What an exciting day!

8. Up at 5...can't sleep. Going precinct walking at 9
Kind of like preaching to the choir, here in the E.Bay, but we have lots of important proposition, as you know, and turnout is the word here.

will vote soon. Not in a battleground (despise that word) State but popular vote may be important.

11. longish line here too
Hi Everyone!

Can you believe it is finally HERE!!! I feel so good today. Our little polling place had a line too (we are about 20 miles east of Sacramento). I've been voting there for 10+ years and have NEVER had to wait in line. Not so today!!! had to wait about 25 minutes. When we left there was still a line out the door (maybe about 50 to 60 people). Our polling place is small--only about 500 people so I'm very optimistic about a high turnout. Take care

Susan, Orangevale, CA

13. Alis Viejo
I voted in Aliso Viejo this am. Lots of people in line. The gal in front of me saw I was holding an absentee ballot and told me to go see one of the ladies who was supervising the line. I handed her my ballot and told her to please be sure it gets put in the box. She told me to follow her so I could see where she was going to put the ballot and then with a smile she handed it back to me and said, "why don't you go ahead and put the ballot in the box yourself." ... so I did. :)

17. Been waiting 4 long years for this day
Part of me says it will be Kerry in a landslide, and part of me is just plain nervous. Been waiting 4 long years to help take back our country.
Voted pretty quickly, one person in front of me when I got there and a couple open booths.

25. Just voted in Sherman Oaks
Steady stream of people - line of 10 which is unprecedented in our precinct at 2 in the afternoon.

The Poll worker told me turnout is the heaviest she's ever seen with more first time voters than ever before.

Our precinct is normally at least 75% Dem.

26. Voted about 2:30 pm. Short lines, very calm
Monterey bay area here. I'm soooooooo excited but kinda wish I could have been with a bigger crowd in one of those swing states ... just to stoke my spirit and get in the (hopefully) "Party" mood.

It's all good though.

GO GO GOOOOO KERRYYYYYY
