Bad news for California Senate district 15.
Sam Blakeslee, oil man and Republican seems to be ahead and most likely will win Abel Maldonado's seat in the California Senate. We had a special election today for the seat.

I'm surprised because the district encompasses a lot of liberal districts along our coast. Democrats are staying home during elections it seems.

1. The farther south you get, the less liberal it gets
one of the few districts they couldn't completely gerrymander, due to the thin population. (It already stretches well over 100 miles north to south.) Remember, Maldonado's a repuke, too.

2. Oh I remember and I hoped his aroma could have
been removed from that Senate seat, however, Blakeslee is worse than him, particularly since he's saturated in oil money.
