Diablo Canyon. Rally, Saturday, April 16 at noon, Avila Beach. Sponsored by San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace. We are the legal intervenors against the relicensing of Diablo Canyon, and our rally is planned to be widely-based, welcoming any and all opponents to nuclear power. Concord: Grassroots Rally to end the use of nuclear power: The rally will be on May 6th at 1pm at Todos Santos park in downtown Concord, CA at 1pm rain or shine. We are working with our friends at the Concord police station to ensure this is a safe and fun event. We are encouraging people to bring their picket signs and their families. Anti-Nuclear Activists to Commemorate 25th Anniversary of Chernobyl Meltdown With April 26 Screening of "The China Syndrome" at Vidiots, followed by Speakers and Public Discussion.

When - Tuesday, April 26, 2011 7:00 PM
Where - Vidiots Annex, 302 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica 90405
Why - To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the tragic nuclear meltdown at Chernobyl and to provide information about the dangers of nuclear power as well as motivate people to help re-ignite a timely and much needed anti-nuclear movement.
What - Screening of award-winning prophetic thriller, "The China Syndrome" starring Jane Fonda, Michael Douglas, and Jack Lemmon. The screening will be followed by public discussion and speakers, including a Chernobyl survivor.
Sponsored by - Coffee House Teach-ins, Alliance for Survival, and Palisadians for Peace

Free to the public. Limited space available. First-come-first-served basis. Seating will start at 6:30 PM.

1. What about San Onofre? It sits right on the beach in an earthquake zone.
It is a zombie coming at all of Southern California.

I'm not quite close enough to organize anything. Where are Orange and San Diego County activists on this?

3. That is what I was meaning to ask. Of course, it is Orange and San Diego Counties
in California. Not many folks there who want to rock their comfortable boat.
