Let's get elected and positioned!

We need to develop a plan to get our people elected to important positions. I am talking about grass roots in every county and city.

After this last stolen election, It hit me like a ton of bricks - " we are working to get out the votes,in many places(maybe even in California) the Republicans were in charge and totally influenced the election."

Why, because they are the ones in charge of counting the votes in their county., appointed to be Inspectors at the polling places, serving on Boards that interact with those in power.

We need an organized way of getting involved!

Perhaps there already is such an group but I am not aware of it.

We need to be mayors, school board officials etc. in every county.

That is how Karl Rove won! His people were in place and they will rule this country for the next 20 years.

For example, I live in Los Angeles. I don't want to run for an elected position but I would be willing to serve on a Board or be an Inspector for the next election. We need to learn how the process works not just get out the vote that may not count.

1. They know what they are doing - it's been going on for decades...
they are out to fill every civic, judgeship, atty genl, police chief/sheriff spot in the nation - and put their people all over the media... And, as you know they hit the libraries.

They GROOM them in their foundations (many tax-free). Pay a visit to www.townhall.com and look at the long list of their operatives, then read their mission statements, read between the lines where necessary, think back to all the guest experts you have listened to on the PRNs (Republican Corporate Networks) and recall their affiliations - most are all right there. They have been working 'stealthily' and not for you.

They are exquisitely orchestrated. Dems and their leaders have been blind.

3. So what do we do about it in California?

Who do we contact?

Who is in charge of organizing these local efforts?

2. Local governments have a lot of influence.
I agree with your post..

Elections\Voter registration is handled at the county and state level.

I would also say (as an employee of a company that does a lot of work with county and local governments)a large amount of federal spending and federal programs are administered by local governments. The locals decide what grants to go after and how to spend them.

City and County councils typically have hiring and firing responsibilities for administrative positions as well.

I was appalled at how many uncontested offices there were on my local ballot this year.

We need to get out the vote for every election, not just the Presidential elections.
