Boxer 3rd largest vote getter Nov. 2nd
I got this email this morning, and thought I would share. This is, for me, a bright spot.

I want to share with you two news articles that just ran about our two great US Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein. As you can see Barbara was the third largest vote getter in the nation behind only Bush and Kerry! An over 2 million vote margin, and still 800,000 votes to count. Congratulations Barbara!

Also Senator Dianne Feinstein is running again. Thank God!! That is great news for our state and nation. There is no Republican, I mean no Republican, that can beat her. We are ready for the campaign Dianne!!

Boxer Becomes Third Biggest Vote Getter

Little noticed in this month's election was that the nation's third biggest vote getter, behind only President Bush and John Kerry, was Sen. Barbara Boxer, a fiery California Democrat who proudly wears her liberalism on her sleeve.

In a campaign year when the GOP picked off most of its Democratic targets, Boxer sailed to a third Senate term Nov. 2 with 6.4 million votes...

Feinstein to run for re-election in 2006

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, viewed as one of the few moderate Democrats in an increasingly polarized Senate, is running for re-election in two years, and even Republicans admit she's an overwhelming choice to keep the seat she first won in a 1992 special election.

"You can probably call the result of this ... two years in advance,'' said Kevin Spillane, a GOP consultant. "There would have to be an event of 9/11 proportions to make her vulnerable.''
