One is the shoot at Angeles Range. I'll be there around 10AM for a trap shoot. If you don't have a shotgun I'll let you use mine. Figure $20 for range fees, and you can use my stuff.
The second is the Noam Chomsky Readers group at the Coco's on Lake Street in Pasadena by the 210 freeway at 3:PM. If you're inclined towards Noam's principle of universality, you'll find company there. Coco's has good food and coffee, and they're OK with group meetings. This is the place I found a good peak oil meeting, and where we've had many a discussion about what to do.
Oh, and one more. There's a screening of End of Suburbia at This coming Sunday, at
http://www.throopuu.org/ at 7PM. Eric Einem, the organizer of the Pasadena Oil Awareness Group will be there as one of his regularly scheduled screenings. This guy is really acive in the peak oil awareness movement, he's probably had 20 screenings this year of the movie. Come by and put a face to a name.
That's the news, come on by and make some news yourself!
