SF voters. Are you disappointed with Nancy Pelosi?
I have to ask this question as I was a little disappointed with her in endorsing DLC anti-choice former congressman Tim Roemer for DNC Chair. I was also a little disappointed in her having made the newly elected DNC chair Howard Dean back down on the subject of policy making. What is she afraid Dean's going to do? Get more people to vote Democratic?

Don't get me wrong. I have had a lot of respect for Pelosi and she has had a solid track record in the House but I am wondering why she supported Tim Roemer? If she is starting to stray towards the DLCers than she should be challenged by somebody in the Democratic Party or even the Green Party in 2006. Somebody who will not back down to the Neocons and play the usual mushy middle.

I hope those of you in San Francisco will make sure Pelosi does not compromise her progressive principles.

2. I'm a California voter not SF, but
Pelosi wimped out the day she took the title of minority leader. I had hoped for better.

3. How did she make Dean back down from policy?
It's how it's always been done. Congressional representatives lead on policy.
