What happened to Harley Sorensen?
A bit less then a week ago, he was taken off the online opinion page of the SF Chronicle, and hasn't written anything new in two weeks. Has he been laid off from the Chronicle? Any word on what's going on with him?

1. Yeah, he's gone.
The Hearsts are making money hand over fist but they can't afford Harley.

2. Well, that sucks!
Without even so much of an annoucement in the paper of his departure?

Is he syndicated anywhere else, or he now 'relegated' to just writing books from now on?

3. I don't know if he has a website like Scheer?
I think I did read an announcement below his last column.

Jon Carrol better watch out. He's about the only liberal columnist left over there and he only occasionally does politics.

5. Is the paper going to become another right wing rag?

4. I don't know if I'd be able to stand my columns
running the same place as a wingnut named "Cinnamon Stillwell."
