Cops, firefighters and widows attack Schwarzenegger

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was called a liar and accused of betraying widows and orphans this morning by more than a score of police officers, firefighters and widows in San Jose.
The group joined State Sen. Elaine Alquist, D-San Jose, to protest Schwarzenegger's plan to change the pension system for California's public employees, including public safety officers and firefighters.

Alquist said the governor's proposal would not only seriously damage recruiting of police and firefighters but also leave the widows and orphans of those killed in the line of duty destitute.

3. Arnold's a jerk

I refuse to sign anything he backs or proposes. Like my grandfather always said: "Follow the money." I always look at the backers of the initives; if CalChamber, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers, Arnie or any of their ilk are for something, I vote against it. Taking from widows and orphans, good grief!

Ya know, like nurses, teachers, public employees, disabled people, retired people, working class people, folks like that.

Now if they want to become the "people of Caleeforneea" they should just pony up $100K a piece for a seat at Ahnold's table.
