Governor's plans echo Wilson's

Angry labor leaders - who claim the "reform" proposals Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger introduced this year marked a continuation of Wilson's anti-labor policies - like to refer to Schwarzenegger's time in office as "Wilson's revenge."

During the recall campaign, the 140,000-member California State Employees Association printed a Schwarzenegger poster with the tag line: "Wilson on steroids."
At least Peewee had the decency to raise taxes on the rich while he was hammering the poor. Action hero doesn't seem to possess that fundamental sense of democratic fairness.

Ahnie's campaign which was chock full of Wilson people, but the campaign kept Wilson under wraps since he would be a liability if brought before the public. They needed Dem votes.

It's about time someone in the media has pointed out that Ahnie's administration is largely the Wilson administration/agenda redux. When it comes to business issues they're not "moderates." Wilson was an active proponent of CA's disastrous electricity "restructuring" which was a feeding fest for Enron, Duke, etc and led BTW to the budget defict that they in turn blamed Davis for and used to get Ahnie into the Governorship. They're sharks.
