I called Drier's office
It was after regular office hours of course, but I left a message thanking the little twerp for the screwing he has helped perpetrate against his constituents by voting for the Bankruptcy reform bill. I urge everyone, whether your rep. is a "D" or the loathsome "R" to do the same. They are suppose to represent us, regardless of what party we belong to. They suck at it.

2. I was ticked off enough to write to Jane Harmon (D), my so-called rep:
"As a resident in your district, I am very disappointed to learn that you did not have the basic morality and strength of character to vote against the passage of S 256, the Orwellian named "Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act."

As I'm sure you're well aware, over 90% of all bankruptcies are due to medical emergencies, the death of the primary breadwinner, or divorce. Indeed, over half of all bankruptcies are due to overwhelming medical costs. These are good citizens who tried to play by the rules but have had devastating, unforeseen events occur in their lives, and you and your fellow New Democratic Coalition members have betrayed them. Only Rahm Emanuel and Loretta Sanchez had the decency to vote against this bill.

I see now that there is no difference between you and a typical Congressional Republican. And yes, that's an insult of the highest order."

(Hope I got my facts right...)

3. Did you ask him what little summer vacations he has planned
on taxpayer dollars with his partner and chief of staff?

4. I'm wondering if Dreier was getting paid trips from DeLay's buddy
also....he did take a lot of trips
with his lover and chief of staff Brad...
who paid for them?

His district wants to know.

5. Check out http://houseofscandal.org/
You can link to any state Congressperson
and see what his or her ties are to DeLay...

here's Dreier's:
http://houseofscandal.org/members/DavidDreierCA-26.html

Just how tangled up in Tom DeLay's
House of Scandal is David Dreier?

and I bet DeLay knows about Dreier's numerous
overseas trips with his lover...paid for Jack Abramoff also?

David Dreier voted with Tom DeLay 96% of the time between Jan. 1 2004 and March 31 2005.
Is this the kind of lockstep government that working families deserve?

David Dreier voted to weaken the ethics rules in a move that many say served only to protect Tom DeLay.
Does the integrity of the House mean so little that David Dreier would sacrifice it to defend Tom DeLay?

When Democrats offered a solution to clean up the House by strengthening ethics rules, David Dreier voted to make sure it never even came to an up or down vote.
So instead of a bipartisan effort to get government working for Americans, David Dreier stood for cronyism and partisan politics.

Tom DeLay has been admonished three times for his unethical behavior, yet David Dreier gave DeLay's legal fund $5,000 to help defend him.
Isn't that the definition of cronyism?

1 Voting percentage with DeLay:
caluclated through: www.cq.com 96%
2 Vote to weaken ethics rules:
H Res. 5, Roll Call #6, 1/4/05 YES
3 Vote to table Democratic solution:
H. Res. 153, Roll Call #70, 3/15/05 YES
4 Donations to DeLay's Legal Defense Fund:
www.citizen.org $5,000
