2. So sorry but have to miss it.
My son's swimming in college nationals in Michigan. I'll be with you in spirit, though. And I made sure this event was included in the peace & justice newsletter I work on. (Circulation 800)

I'll be with you next time for sure.

5. I went. I didn't march though.
I went to the rally, but I didn't march in the march to Halliburton. I actually saw one of the protestors get arrested though.

6. Arrested?
Didn't see any trouble. Looked like between 1 to 2 thousand. We left before 3:00. I wonder how the march to Halliburton went? I hope that this gets good news coverage - especially the Ragin' Grannies. They were terrific!

7. Too bad I didn't see you there.
Not that I would know. What happened is I went back to the Light Rail stop at 16th street mall and it was about 3:40 and a large contingent from the rally were marching to Halliburton and many had made it across the street there, and cops came and stopped a good number from crossing, but they still had a green light. One guy started to walk across and the cops took him down and arrested him. It was horrifying to watch.

8. Hi from MN! We had about 1,500 in one protest. Went very well.
Minneapolis pics taken by MN DUer Dodger 501 at http://www.dodgerdigital.com/rally

NY had arrests too. Of course, they laid down in the street.

Chicago had at least 3 times as many cops as protesters - 3,000 to 1,000. 2 arrests.

Hollywood had 2,000 show up. Pics pending.

Can you post whatever info you have to this thread:
