Denver's cash register building? Rich uncle sam is coming to town; its time to cash in.

Boulder? Ward Churchill, Liberals and Coeds! an agent's paradise.

Behind the Flatirons? When they were built in the 1930's it was always thought that some agency would reside behind the massive rocks.

Focus on the Family? Hey they're already spying on America's bedrooms and we could use the same sign.

Lookout Mountain?

Cheyenne? They'll never notice. They didn't even know where the Chinese embassy in Serbia was.

Lockeed Martin? I hear they'll soon have an empty rocket manufacturing building. (Thanks for nothing Tancredo!)

Invesco Field? A great place for Agent Orange to blend in.

1. i would think they would be the civil servants who could most
benefit from being close to nature. Be it to suave their weary souls or to remind them of how 'we really are small on the whole scale of things'.

I agree that other parts of the USA should participate in federal windfalls.

But if this is coming from the WH, I would think part of it might be part of a plan to purge the CIA of old workers who came up in a time when torture was considered a very rare thing and not something to look to right away if ever. Or perhaps to isolate them from the politics and the inside the beltway thinking that makes them more sophisticated. After all the neocons think they have a monopoly on being intelligent and hold obvious contempt for any civil servant who wants to go on actual intelligence instead of boogymen.

If you can cull a certain percentage of workers by moving their offices and their lives.. you can replace them with the used car salesmen who are so much a part of the GOP today.

But I didn't read the article. I just find myself not able to process anything that comes from 'official washington'.

3. A good way to replace workers.
Surprise, that thought was missing from all the comments in the weekend papers. Maybe they were just too busy.

4. Oh - I am speculating. I have not read the full article. I'm just not a
consumer of some things. And I think the worst. Because I have witnessed nothing but the worst of mankind in this WH.

5. Put them next door to
Focus on the Family. Lots of goings on there to pry in to. They can learn more on hating their fellow man, and acting sanctimonious about it.

7. Looks like Denver thinks they have the prize
Other CIA veterans said such a relocation would make no sense, given Denver's distance from major corporate centers. http://www.denverpost.com/frontpage/ci_2714490
