Another stop Wal Mart movement in my neighborhood

The proposed Arvada Wal Mart was halted at 52nd and Wadsworth and the old Elitch's site was a no go, as well. However, Wal Mart seems determined to put a superstore in the NW Denver/Westminster/Arvada area.

Now, they are proposing a site at 72nd and Sheridan Blvd. Many small retailers thrive in this area. The traffic would be untenable since the intersection is designed only for the current traffic flow.

1. Is it the Albertson's corner?

That would be the northeast corner of 72nd and Sheridan. I didn't see it on the site and thought you might knnow.

Thai and Chinese restaurants are there. My husband was saying that will probably destroy the little 7-11 on Sheridan, and the businesses in the Albertson's strip mall, as well as further east down 72nd Ave.
