A record 43 vetoes and counting by Gov. B.O.
What's the point in electing a Democratic legislature when the Governor wipes out so much of their work?

I sure hope they call a special session to override at least some of them.

Check out some of these stories:

Scroll down mid page for this:
"Election accountability: New voting machines must print a paper record of each voter's selections."

Edit - looks like that page is dated in May. Does anyone know if he signed or vetoed the 2 bills related to paper ballots? I checked the page for the status of bills and there's nothing keyed in yet beyond May 9th.

2. Senate Bill 198?
On the state's web site it says that it was sent to the Governor on May 25. No word of it being signed.

The Gov probably won't sign it and use the excuse that it will cost too much to get new machines or retrofit the older ones. And in the past it was totally up to the counties. As I see it, this would be a big change.

3. Yes - 198 and 206
I heard he was griping that the measures would cost a lot. But I wondered if he signed it and how we'll know if he signs or vetoes them.
