Dear Coloradodem

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the nomination of John
Bolton to be Ambassador to the United Nations. This issue is of great
importance for Coloradans and all Americans.

It is my strong belief that John Bolton is qualified to be the United
States Ambassador to the United Nations.

Although some have questioned his role as Under Secretary of State for
Arms Control and International Security, I believe he was instrumental in
closely working with the international community to build a coalition of
more than 60 countries to help combat the spread of dangerous weapons.
Additionally, Mr. Bolton led negotiations of the Treaty of Moscow, signed
by President Bush and Russian President Putin to reduce nuclear warheads
by two-thirds, and led negotiations of the successful G-8 global
Partnership against the proliferation of WMDs.

When President Bush and Secretary Rice announced their intent to nominate
John Bolton to be Ambassador, they spoke of his desire to fulfill the
hopes and aspirations of UN's original promise to save succeeding
generations from the scourge of war, to reaffirm faith and fundamental
human rights, and to promote social progress and better standards of life
in larger freedom. Unfortunately, the U.N. has shifted away from its
original charter, leaving the United States, the single largest
contributor to the U.N., with no other option but to send a strong voice
committed to the future success of this international body.

I haven't gotten responses from Campbell when he was Senator, nor do I get these kinds of things from Salazar now.

I believe this because questions & points are not directly addressed. They are more like a stump speech or policy statement.

Maybe yours wasn't, but I'd bet money that the ones I've received were.

I never received an acknowledgement back from Campbell either. But I did get one from Salazar.
