Vote YES on Amendment 42
We need to ensure that we rebuild respect for workers, starting at the bottom.

Don't fall for the repuke-chamber of commerce propaganda that reform doesn't belong in our constitution.

In addition to 42, we need legislation to set the minimum wage higher, but it must be indexed to the cost of living.

1. How many jobs will be cut?
There are a lot of businesses that hire minimum wage workers (many temporarily) because of the low wage. In a few years at the new rate plus inflation increases, their current payroll would afford only 7/10ths of the workers they now have.

And I wouldn't call Chuck Green a "repuke-chamber of commerce propagandist".

2. none
not one.

in fact, historically, increases in the minimum wage *increase* employment.

You're right. Chuck Green is more of a pseudo-libertarian repuke-chamber of commerce propagandist.

3. Do you like TABOR?
It imposed fiscal limits in the state constitution. Amendment 42 is trying to do the same thing. The constitution should only deal with broad issues not specific ones like TABOR or 42. A balanced state budget is such an example that is good.

And yes I've heard that increasing the minimum wage helps overall employment. But it hurts some jobs.
