Alec Baldwin Considering Senate Run In CT
Baldwin Would Run Against Lieberman In 2010

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman has a message for actor Alec Baldwin, who is reportedly considering a move to Connecticut to challenge Lieberman in 2012: "Make my day."

Lieberman addressed the issue Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." He said that he respects the "30 Rock" star as an actor and comedian.

Baldwin told Playboy magazine that he was considering moving to Connecticut to run against Lieberman, saying he has "no use" for the independent senator.

Lieberman was re-elected to the Senate in 2008 as an independent after he lost the Democratic primary. He was the Democratic nominee for vice president in 2000 and spoke at last year's Republican National Convention.
