Christine O'Donnell is a whiny lil snoot
This idiot is nuts if she doesn't realize that the rest of Delaware was quite aware that Joe Biden was running for both Senate and VP. When 2 out of 3 First Staters still picked Biden for senate that should send a clear message to that whiner that her lunatic religious idealogy was not a good fit for our state. But she still whined and said this about her loss:

She had complained during the current campaign that Biden was using his Senate candidacy as a fallback position. It wasn't fair, she argued, because if people voted for Biden, they really didn't know whom they were choosing. "I don't think that's right for democracy," she said.

BTW Miss O'Donnell, I know who I was choosing for senate yesterday - I was choosing ANYONE selected by Ruth Ann Minner over you. With only getting 30% of the vote that should have been a very clear message!

1. True
And people knew they were choosing Biden as Senator if Obama/Biden did not win.

What a dipwad. I saw one of her flyers, ranting on about how the most important issues were "Pro-Life," "heterosexual marriage" - what a nutcase.

2. The republican party is shot in Delaware
the fact that the best they could come up with to run against Biden and Markell was 2 has-beens. Bill Lee never really wanted to run in the first place but it was either him or that Protak nut-job. And O'Donnell, the republican party wouldn't even support her. She actually sold her house in Little Italy to pay for her campaign - that's a really bad investment. Hopefully now that she's homeless (well she actually was renting the house she sold), perhaps she'll just move out of state.

3. They certainly are in bad shape
What's the hope of getting rid of Mike Castle - or do we just have to wait for retirement?

I sent him a letter on an issue once and he now keeps mailing me letters assuming my position to be his (the opposite of mine).

4. Retirement and hopes he doesn't go after Joe Biden's seat
Castle isn't that bad. I mean he is pro-choice and pro-environment. He's probably more liberal than some of the democrats out there.
