1. I was there once
Meant to get off a train in Maryland, but missed my stop and wound up in Wilmington.
I've got my problems with Delaware, though. The state needs to revisit its laws regarding credit card companies. Nearly every card company that pracitices predatory lending is based in Delaware because of the states loose laws.

2. Also please remember you can't walk 5 feet in Northern DE...
....without running into someone who works for a Credit Card company, myself included  If it wasn't for those Delaware (and also South Dakota) tax laws, many of these companies would probably end up in Bermuda or some other place offshore. At least they're paying US Taxes. Anyhow, we're tired of all the pollution!

Actually, 2 of the biggest predator credit card companies - Providian & CapitalOne are NOT based in Delaware. However, these 2 companies make it a point of pushing their cards on customers who have little, no or even bad credit knowing they can get them hooked on the cycle. Don't blame us for everything

5. Excuse me - have you seen our beaches
WE have a lovely set of beaches down south including Rehobeth, Dewey and Bethany. In fact Rehobeth is a great beach that is actually very pro-gay!

ALso Newark & New Castle are wonderful plaes to visit and our college football UDel has been National Champs in Division 1-A

So you know, that's pretty fricking rude - our state is great and I love it here!! And btw, I've never been to a NASCAR, Harness or Wrestling event in the state ever!
