Sen. Carper will be speaking this weekend
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 10:10 AM by woodsprite
at the New Castle Presbyterian Church education building at 12:15 on Sunday, September 18th. Announcements have been in the New Castle paper, but I'm not sure they've been in the News Journal. The church sponsors a lecture series as an outreach to the community on current events and interests. Future speakers will be Rep. Castle and Gov. Minner.

All are invited. I'm not sure how much time will be available for questions, but I understand there may be 15 min. or so at the end.

The New Castle Presbyterian Church is the historic church on the right as you head down 2nd street from Delaware Street in New Castle. Looking at the church, the education building is on the left. A light lunch (finger sandwiches, cookies, brownies, etc) will be served.
