My Early Vote Counted, Did Yours?
https://doe.dos.state.fl.us/fvrscountyballotreports/FVRSAvailableFiles.aspx

Go here and under your county, click on the left hand column with the nearest date after the date that you voted. Be patient because it is a long list (about 7mb). Then using "ctrl F" you can find your last name and verify if you have voted and that it counted.

I found it with the Ctrl F. It must not be perfectly sorted in alphabetical order.

3. University of Gainesville.
How has it managed to survive the changes that have been going on in the rest of the state?

4. in what sense?
If you mean financially the answer is Shands.
It brings in a massive amount of money... that and they have a very active legal department.
They've got their claws in some very lucrative patents.

politically... I've got to say that I'm kinda surprised about how left the county is going.
There *are students that are politically engaged but the campus can hardly be called a political hotbed.

5. I understand that Alachua County is very Democratic.
But on the road from Orlando to Gainesville, it's very clear that the beef places in between, are not. At least, that's the conclusion you make after seeing all the anti-abortion billboards along the highway.

6. I've been in and out of the site looking for an absentee ballot to show up,
up the name hasn't turned up, even after a week. I know the title of the table says "Absentee" but the actual table only lists the results for the early voters. Anyone know if there is a different place to find Absentee ballots?
