Amy supports Florida's teachers and is against the draconian measures being introduced in the Florida legislature! That's all I need to know.

I talked to another teacher today who lives in your district. Once the dust settles on this legislation session, you will receive a phone call or email from me. I will be willing to spend my summer volunteering on your staff. We teachers have quite a netroots organization going on and we're eager to throw the ruling Republicans out. Some teachers are Republicans who will vote for the Dem candidate. Others admittedly have been uninformed voters and this allowed the more organized Reps to get elected. No more. The Republicans have WAY WAY overstepped.

We teachers welcome accountability. We want to shed the absurd notion that we just babysit all day for a check. I myself benefit from "merit pay." However, this bill is ridiculous.

You need to introduce yourself and tell the FB group that you're running against Dean Cannon, District 35. Some Dem candidates are starting to take notice of us. It's hard to miss a group of over 51,000 FB fans.
